| Unfortunately the range of PPC 6700 of Sprint is not large, about 6 feet, depending on the equipment you own. |

Please send the codebase for your Sony TV learned from its original remote control to service@novii.com. We'll analyze IR signals in your codebase and try to increase the range if possible.

Alright, trying this prog out---
I got it to work with my crappy Insignia TV, but the range is only 4 feet--WHAT A BUMMER.
Barely worked with my DishNetwork Echostar 501 PVR.
Boy, what a frustrating thing for such a cool program!
Any ideas? _________________ www.esuds.com |

We cannot affect the range of Pocket PC device. If the infrared port is underpowered the range is short
I recommend you to point the infrared port directly to your TV set.
You also may try an infrared booster. Recently we opened a forum devoted to boosters.
Just now we're preparing the landscape skins for PPC 6700 and other pocket pc devices having an infrared port on the right or left side. |

| I get a 15 to 20 feet with my ppc6700. the same good distance on all four different tvs di different locations. I just wish there was land scape mode . well the new beta 3.4 supported landscape but was not the full screen. (240x240) |

Most probably you created the codebase for the 240*240 using the previous v3.3. Certainly, v3.4 display this codebase with the same sizes 240*240.
If you want to use the landscape mode in v 3.4, you have to create your codebases from the scratch, using Add wizard. |

So I bought the software, installed it on my 6700 and selected the lowest resolution.
The application forced my 6700 into landscape mode, but the splash screen was only 1/3 of the noviiremote splash, and no buttons, so I was stuck, can't select anything, can't get into the program, nothing.
So I try to remove the application to see if I can get the initial setup screen again, but alas, it would just automatically jump to the broken splash screen again.
Finally, after another uninstall and reinstall, I now get an error (noviremote.cab installation was unsuccessful) with no explanation.

| Just delete manually the ndrwakeup.exe in Windows fold. And then install the program again. When you start the program for the very first time just select the landscape mode with IR on the left and it it will work fine. |

Ok, thank you, that worked.
Now, I have the nrm-license.pdb and have dropped it into the my documents folder on the PPC, but NoviiRemote keeps telling me that it's still in trial mode.
What am I doing wrong here, last time I installed this program, none of these problems were present, now, nothing by trouble. |

I never saw a response to the original post about the PPC6700 saying that the infrared port is already in use by another application and someone replied with "connections\beam options" but when i go there all it says is a checkbox that says Receive all incoming beams.
Is that what you're tlaking about? because there aren't any other options in there. |

| If you get error message that IR port is in use, please try to launch the IR Setup form and tune the infrared port manually. It could help. Just select another COM port from the list of available ports, press the OK button, and check again if NoviiRemote Deluxe software works properly. Try all the ports from the list until you find the correct one. |
