Cheers. |
What is your device for X10 commands? Is it a TV or VCR or something else? |

| Do you have an x10 remote? Even something simple like one of their palm-sized remotes would work -- you just use the training function in Novii with it. |

| NoviiRemote can not do X10 as it is not IR (infrared). X10 is based on RF (radio) signals. |

Resurrecting this thread because I've recently added quite a few X10 components to control lights and such (Christmas decorations, every day lamps, fish aquarium filters/lights, etc.) in my house. Just FYI for anyone looking for it, X10 offers an IR to RF converter receiver/transceiver for around $10-15 (check eBay). This will allow you to basically control anything in your X10 system (lights, cameras, security systems, appliances, etc.) with Novii Remote.
If I buy this IR to RF converter box, I'll probably just pick up a remote control with it (it's only like $10 more), and I'll configure a Novii codebase for it (at least for the PalmOS version). |
